Today's Pick? Let's cut to the chase. Tony Stark's dad is gracing our city this eve, and will attend a screening of perhaps his greatest moment, certainly his most well-known. The legendary and insanely influential indie filmmaker Robert Downey will attend a screening of his classic farce PUTNEY SWOPE, a whimsical, whizzical of-its-moment comment on race relations and corporate culture that is now, remarkably, both dated and incredibly timely. Some screenings you can miss. This ya can't. Skipping this one-of-a-kind event isn't a MP, it's a YP.

P. S. Winter's icy grip seems to have loosened on our fair metropolis, but milder weather aside some of our fellow NY'ers have still yet to be made whole in the wake of the 2012 storm. Should you be feeling charitable please visit the folks at OccupySandy.net, follow their hammer-in-hand efforts to restore people's lives, and donate/volunteer if you have the inclination and availability. Be a collective mensch, Stockahz!
